Walk into The Surf Ballroom ( Clear Lake Iowa) and you will be overwhelmed by the number of autographed photos of musical legends stretching back into the 1950’s. We were there in 2005 to see Derick St Holmes (Ted Nuget/ Stranglehold) on stage w/ my roofing buddy Al R. playing backup base guitar .
