Lawyerchik…thank you for the lead….I will look forward to you getting back to me on this one…here’s a thought maybe you can make a batch, and bring them with you when you visit..or you and Mrs DM can make them together in our state of the art country kitchen.

DM: I just found a possible clue to your search. America’s Test Kitchen (I think you can find it through PBS) has one – it’s in a “premium” section, so since I’m going to have to renew my subscription soon anyway, when I do, I will check on it and get back to you. The promise of “quick” doesn’t sound great, but it could work. The nice thing about their recipes is that they do test them to make them as fool-proof as possible.

I don’t make cinnamon rolls, but there is a new diner in Iowa City called Bluebird Diner (caddy corner from John’s Grocery) with DELICIOUS, HUGE, YEASTY, FABULOUS, HUGE, GREAT cinnamon rolls on their dessert menu. Did I mention that they taste great???!
