“I’ve lived in this town ten years… this is by far the most enjoyable thing I’ve been to .”…. Steve
I’m not sure where to begin…the evening was magical.
We rented the Java Jones coffee house for the evening. Lou Brown, Bob and Aimee put on another excellent show of original music. As sometimes happens at these events, there were other musicians in the audience who took the stage spontaneously….Gayla Drake Paul with 15 CD’s to her credit has been ranked as one of the top 100 acoustic guitarists on the planet and Michelle Dalziel who has played before @ Applejam, sang two original numbers.
Lou, Bob, and Amy are staying with us in our Bed and Breakfast. Before the concert, they took us out to dinner.- That was nice. The concert started at 7…We got home about 10:30 PM, sat around our kitchen table, drank a little wine. Ahh..the simple pleasures of life.
One of these days my friend!!! We will be by your place again and stay for more than 3/4 hours! I am thankful for tht first meeting, but we’d really love to visit the bed and breakfast and hang out for the Apple Jam! So have you moved it out of the barn now?

No, Applejam will probably stay in the barn the Saturday after Labor Day…..this event with Lou, Bob, and Aimee in the coffee house is our third but hopefully not the last “inside event”…it’s too cold in the barn so we looked for someplace warm and cozy…I think we’ll keep hosting 2 events a year….one in September and a second something like we did last night…
A little chagrined… it would have never occurred to me, as a visiting musician, to take out my hosts for dinner — a thought to keep in mind. I have been working on caring less about whether my business makes money and more about being present and gracious.
